Atlantic Health System seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare and render radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies at Hackettstown Medical Center. You will operate scanners and gamma cameras, measure activity, and administer doses under physician guidance.

Requirements include a graduate of an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine program, a valid NJDEP license, and national certifications (ARRT/NMTCB/CAMRT).

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of AMA approved school of Nuclear Medicine
• NJDEP nuclear medicine license in good standing
• ARRT/NMTCB/CAMRT registration or certification

Responsabilités

• Mix stock solutions, calculate and administer doses under physician direction
• Calibrate radiopharmaceutical equipment and quality control
• Perform diagnostic studies using scanners to image organs
• Measure radioactivity with Geiger counters and detectors
• Administer therapeutic doses under physician supervision
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and proper disposal
• Additional duties as assigned
