Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of Nuclear Medicine required.
• NJDEP nuclear medicine license current.
• Registration or certification by ARRT, NMTCB, or CAMRT.
• Experience in an office-based setting preferred; leadership and mentoring duties expected.

Responsibilities

• Mixes stock solutions, calculates doses and administers doses under physician direction.
• Calibrates equipment used in imaging procedures.
• Performs diagnostic studies using scanners or cameras to image organs.
• Measures radioactivity with Geiger counters and detectors.
• Administers therapeutic doses under physician direction.
• Adheres to radiation safety protocols for handling and disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
