Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a busy hospital setting as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Must hold a valid state license.
• ARRT or NMTCB registry is required.
• BLS by American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides immobilization devices as required and selects and operates Nuclear Medicine equipment as directed.
• Evaluates radio images using the PACS System to ensure proper identification and diagnostic value.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals to the patient and calibrates equipment and assays radio nuclides.
• Maintains records of radioisotope receipt, use, storage, and disposal in accordance with regulations.
