Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week contract in Newton, NJ. The ideal candidate will prepare patients, administer radiopharmaceuticals, monitor procedures, and operate imaging equipment, ensuring safety and quality throughout.

Requirements include ARRT(NM) or CNMT certification, BLS certification, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine or related Radiologic Technology program. Local 40-hour workweek, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, on-site position.

Qualifications

ARRT(NM) or CNMT certification is required.
BLS certification is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine or graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology & Nuclear Medicine program is required.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for nuclear medicine examinations and explain procedures.
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
Monitor patients’ physical condition throughout examinations and procedures.
Operate and monitor nuclear medicine imaging equipment and scanning setups.
Perform general nuclear medicine studies such as bone, hepatobiliary, lung, and thyroid scans.
Maintain patient safety and follow radiation safety and departmental protocols.
Ensure accurate documentation and proper handling of imaging and patient information.
