Job summary

The role requires ARRT(N) and NJ state licensure, BLS within 60 days of starting, and graduation from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program. Strong communication and record-keeping skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT(N) and NJ State License.
• AHA BLS within 60 days of start.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs radionuclide procedures for organ imaging, function studies, and therapeutic support.
• Operates Nuclear Medicine equipment as directed.
• Maintains radiation safety for self and patients per guidelines.
• Prepares radiopharmaceuticals and tracer compounds for patient use.
• Keeps records of radioisotope receipt, storage, and disposal per regulations.
• Adheres to NRC, State DEP, and JCAHO guidelines and practices.
• Uses EPIC, PACS, and NMIS systems for scheduling and processing studies.
• Works shifts including holidays and weekends; on-call as required by policy.
