Job summary

Cynet Health in New Jersey seeks a Radiology - Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform general nuclear medicine and cardiac studies in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires 1 year of clinical experience, NJDEP license, ARRT or NMTCB registry, and BLS. Shift is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Mon-Fri, with on-call as required.

You will operate equipment, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, ensure radiation safety, maintain records, and support PACS imaging workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a busy hospital setting as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• NJDEP license required.
• ARRT or NMTCB registry required; BLS by American Heart Association required.
• General nuclear medicine and cardiac studies experience as Must-Have.

Responsibilities

• Provides immobilization devices as required.
• Selects and operates Nuclear Medicine equipment as directed.
• Evaluates radio images using PACS to ensure diagnostic value.
• Provides radiation protection for self and patient per safety guidelines.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
• Performs radionuclide procedures including organ imaging and function studies.
• Calibrates equipment and assays radio nuclides.
• Maintains records of radioisotope receipt, storage and disposal.
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of room and equipment.
• Follows NRC and state guidelines and practices.
