Qualifications

• Current New Jersey license in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Must maintain valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR.
• Annual fit testing required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures correct patient identity by verbal verification and comparison.
• Prepares patient by explaining the procedure according to needs.
• Positions patient according to protocols and physician instructions.
• Prepares and administers proper radiopharmaceuticals for procedures.
• Maintains adequate records of radioisotope usage and disposal.
