Qualifications
Current New Jersey license in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
Must maintain valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR.
Annual fit testing required.
Responsibilities
Ensures correct patient identity by verbal verification and comparison.
Prepares patient by explaining the procedure according to needs.
Positions patient according to protocols and physician instructions.
Prepares and administers proper radiopharmaceuticals for procedures.
Maintains adequate records of radioisotope usage and disposal.
