Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform radionuclide procedures and image acquisition with strict adherence to safety standards. You will operate PET/CT and related equipment, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure regulatory compliance in a dynamic care setting.

The role requires ARRT(N) and NJ state license, with on-call and weekend shifts. A strong emphasis on patient communication and documentation is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radionuclide procedures on patients including organ imaging and function studies.
• Selects and operates Nuclear Medicine equipment.
• Provides radiation protection for patient and staff.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals.
• Maintains records of radioisotope receipt, use, and disposal.
• Ensures room and equipment cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Performs QA procedures daily and participates in on-call duties.
