Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT(N) or CNMT certification for a hospital radiology department on a day shift, 40 hours per week in New Jersey.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT(N) or CNMT certification, NJ State License if required, a BS in Nuclear Medicine or related program, CPR certification, and experience in general nuclear medicine including bone, hepatobiliary, lung and thyroid scans.

Qualifications

• ARRT(N) or CNMT certification required.
• NJ State License required for Nuclear Medicine (license if applicable).
• BS in Nuclear Medicine or graduate of an approved RT and Nuclear Medicine program.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in General Nuclear Medicine preferred (bone, hepatobiliary, lung, thyroid scans).

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for examinations and radiopharmaceutical administration.
• Monitors patient condition throughout procedures.
• Monitors equipment operation and scanning setup.
• May float to a nearby sister hospital.
• Accepts local candidates at a reduced rate.
