Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to assist with specialized imaging procedures in a hospital setting. You will perform tests, calibrate gamma cameras, and ensure patient comfort while maintaining strict safety standards.

Qualifications include graduation from a Nuclear Medicine Technology program, NJ state license, and ARRT/NMTCB certification with BLS. Two years of hospital experience and additional CT or fusion certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program and NJ state license.
• ARRT and/or NMTCB certification; BLS certification required.
• Preferred: 2 years hospital experience; CT certification or NMTCB Fusion may be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Performing and ensuring accuracy of nuclear medicine tests and procedures.
• Calibrating equipment and conducting quality control on gamma cameras.
• Explaining procedures to patients, ensuring comfort, and obtaining proper identification.
• Handling radiopharmaceuticals according to safety protocols.
• Supporting the nuclear physician during imaging procedures.
• Adhering to hospital, state, and federal regulations.
• Completing special assignments and ensuring test validity before releasing results.
