Job summary

Carle Health is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic exams and radiopharmaceutical therapies using PET/CT equipment and nuclear medicine instrumentation. You will verify orders, review patient histories, administer tracers, and support radiologists with image interpretation.

Essential duties include patient safety, quality imaging, and proper data transfer to PACS/RIS. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are offered for relocating candidates.

Qualifications

• Education credentials include college diploma or certificate of completion with radiologic tech focus.
• Requires CNMT and NMT registrations within 1 year, and BLS within 30 days.
• Licenses must be current and in the appropriate state, with IEMA radiography credentials.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical therapies using Nuc Med, PET/CT, and related equipment.
• Reviews orders, patient history, and labs to ensure accurate exams and necessary data.
• Maintains imaging equipment, safety, and workflow; supports students and staff as needed.
• Transmits and archives imaging data, coordinates with Radiologists and scheduling/billing systems.
