Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a Per Diem position; 8-hour day shifts in Eureka, CA. The role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures, with collaboration among radiologists, cardiologists, and other staff.

You will participate in quality control and on-call staffing to meet department needs. Required qualifications include AMA-approved nuclear medicine program, NMTCB or ARRT/NMT certification, California

Qualifications

Graduate of a program in nuclear medicine technology approved by the AMA.
National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or National Registered Technologist (NMT).
California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification.
National Provider BLS — American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures per department standards.
Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and other physicians.
Participate in quality control and on-call staffing to meet department needs.
Serve as a customer service representative to patients and families.
