The Nuclear Medicine technologist at Wellstar will provide safe, age-appropriate care by performing department exams per procedures. You will set up equipment, position patients, obtain quality diagnostic studies and maintain patient safety and privacy while delivering compassionate care.

Required education includes an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine program with ARRT-N or CNMT certs, plus BLS. The role demands excellent communication, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and

Qualificações

• Requires accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT-N or CNMT certification.
• Must hold BLS (or equivalent) upon hire.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Verify and obtain proper clinician orders for procedures.
• Prepare and set up NM equipment and position patients for imaging.
• Ensure patient privacy, safety, and comfort during exams.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control policies.
