The Nuclear Medicine technologist at Wellstar provides safe, age-appropriate patient care by performing department exams, preparing equipment, and positioning patients for imaging studies. This role requires AMA-approved NM program graduate, ARRT‑N or CNMT certification and 1 year NM experience; Wellstar supports ongoing

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Program.
• Minimum 1 year NM clinical experience.
• ARRT-N or CNMT certification; BLS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine procedures with independence.
• Verify patient identity and ensure safety during exams.
• Prepare equipment, position patients, and optimize image quality.
• Maintain infection control and equipment readiness.
