Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform exams, set up imaging equipment, and ensure high-quality diagnostic studies. You will verify orders, prep patients, and deliver compassionate care while maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Requirements include an Accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-N/CNMT eligibility, and at least 1 year of NM experience. The role includes a day shift with competitive pay and benefits under Wellstar’s Total

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine program.
• Minimum 1 year NM experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and patient history; assess contraindications.
• Operate NM equipment and position patients for procedures to ensure quality imaging.
• Maintain infection control, calibration, and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Provide patient care, privacy, comfort, and clear explanations using AIDET.
• Document studies in RIS and transmit to PACS; support other technologists as needed.
