Job summary

Wellstar in Georgia is seeking a Nuclear Medicine technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate imaging and patient care. You will prepare and operate NM equipment, position patients, and follow department procedures to obtain high-quality diagnostic studies.

The role requires AMA approved Nuclear Medicine training, ARRTD CNMT licenses, and strong communication. You will work a day shift, participate in education, and support quality control, patient safety, and collaboration with physicians

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Nuclear Medicine program.
• Minimum 1 year NM experience in a clinical setting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete patient history.
• Ensure proper patient identification and correct labeling of studies.
• Maintain infection control and prepare/operate NM equipment for imaging.
