Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide age-appropriate imaging services. You will set up equipment, position patients, verify orders, and ensure safety and quality in every study.

The role requires teamwork, clear communication with physicians and patients, and adherence to department protocols. Qualified candidates have an Accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT‑N or CNMT, BLS, and at least 1 year NM experience.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program graduate.
• ARRT‑N or CNMT certification required; BLS or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year Nuclear Medicine clinical experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete patient history.
• Prepare and set up imaging equipment; position patient for procedures.
• Ensure patient identification and accuracy of studies; review images.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other technologists and staff as needed.
