Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital-Orange in California is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a Per Diem role.

The 8-hour Day Shifts position supports planning, organizing and performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures under supervision and in alignment with QA standards. Qualified candidates will have an accredited nuclear medicine training program and hold required certifications (NMTCB or ARRT, California Nuclear Medicine Certification, and BLS).

Qualifications

• Graduate of Nuclear Medicine training program.
• National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or National Registered Technologist (NMT) at hire.
• California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification at hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association at hire.
• 1 year experience with same manufacturer cameras as St. Joseph hospital (preferred).
• Infant to adult nuclear medicine procedures experience (preferred).
• IV administration experience with pediatric patients (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
• Fulfill duties related to department QA standards and regulatory compliance.
