Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate imaging support. You will set up equipment, position patients, and perform procedures per department protocols with independent judgment.

The role requires ARRT‑N or CNMT certification and strong patient communication. Responsibilities include ensuring proper orders, accurate patient identity, and high-quality images, while maintaining infection control and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion.
• ARRT-N or CNMT license required at hire.
• BLS or equivalent certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and obtain patient history.
• Prepare and position patient and equipment for imaging.
• Follow pre/post procedural protocols and infection control.
• Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and comfort.
• Operate NM equipment safely and document procedures.
