Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a wide range of imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality diagnostic results. You will set up and operate imaging equipment, position patients, and follow department protocols with independence and clinical judgment.

Role requires AMA‑approved Nuclear Medicine training and at least one year of NM experience, plus ARRT‑N or CNMT certification and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Nuclear Medicine program
• Minimum 1 year NM clinical experience
• All certifications required upon hire (ARRT‑N or CNMT, BLS)

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures per department protocols
• Ensure patient safety, monitoring, and comfort throughout examinations
• Prepare and operate imaging equipment, verify patient identity, and document results
• Restock supplies and assist with equipment maintenance as needed
