Job summary

Wellstar Nuclear Medicine department is seeking a skilled technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate imaging and diagnostic studies. You will set up equipment, position patients, and follow department procedures to ensure high-quality results.

The role requires clinical NM experience, ARRT‑N or CNMT certification, and strong communication skills to support patient comfort and safety during procedures.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT‑N or CNMT) required.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• Minimum 1 year NM clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history for procedures.
• Prepare patient and equipment, perform imaging according to department procedures.
• Ensure proper patient identification and accurate left/right markers on studies.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain crash cart readiness and life-support supplies.
• Maintain equipment, infection control, and clean, organized work environments.
