Wellstar is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate imaging services and to operate equipment for high-quality diagnostic studies. You will set up equipment, position patients, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout exams.

The role emphasizes independent judgment, adherence to department protocols, and collaboration with radiology staff in a busy hospital setting with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with physicians, patients and staff.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Strong attention to safety and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete patient history.
• Position patient and prepare equipment for imaging procedures.
• Ensure proper patient identification and correct marking before procedures.
• Support other technologists and restock supplies as needed.
