Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate imaging and compassionate patient care. You will perform a wide range of procedures, set up equipment, and ensure high-quality diagnostic studies while following department protocols.

The role requires AMA-approved NM training, ARRT-N or CNMT certification with BLS, and strong communication under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Relocation and sign-on bonuses may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Program.
• BLS certification or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders, obtain patient history, and ensure correct patient identification.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety protocols.
• Position patient and operate NM equipment to obtain quality images.
• Maintain equipment and restock supplies; respond to emergencies.
• Document procedures in RIS and transfer studies to PACS.
