Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience required.
• Nuclear medicine experience preferred.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Certified Nuclear Med Tech credential required.
• BLS certification required or Instructor level.

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to obtain the best study while maintaining image quality.
• Verify orders and gather complete clinical history before procedures.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety protocols to protect patients.
• Ensure proper patient identification and correct left/right markers.
• Review images for radiologist-approved results and release patients.
• Maintain NM equipment and keep the department clean per policy.
• Restock supplies and assist other technologists when needed.
• Perform pre- and post-procedure patient care and time-out procedures.
