Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a range of imaging procedures and deliver age-appropriate patient care. This role requires setup, proper positioning, and adherence to department protocols to ensure high-quality diagnostic studies.

Qualifications include an Associates in Radiologic Technology, at least 1 year of clinical experience, and ARRT Nuclear Tech or equivalent certification with BLS.

Qualifications

• Associates in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience caring for patients is required.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for imaging studies.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adjust technique for quality results.
• Verify patient identity and orders; adhere to safety protocols.
• Restock and maintain NM department equipment and supplies.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with patient care as needed.
• Document procedures and communicate results following policy.
