Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our team. Under the supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, you will perform radiographic procedures, apply radiopharmaceuticals, and operate Nuclear Medicine cameras to support diagnostic imaging for both inpatients and outpatients.

You will ensure safety and accuracy in isotopes handling and patient care. Required credentials include NMTCB or NMT, ARRT(NM) or NMTCB, Texas MRT, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT).
• ARRT(NM) or NMTCB Certification required.
• MRT State of Texas certification.
• NMTCB PET Certification preferred.
• Current BLS provider (AHA or ARC).
• Cross-training program requires certification in alternate modality within 6 months of training completion.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform general radiographic procedures.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with independent judgment.
• Perform tests on in-patients and out-patients.
• Utilize Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment.
• Administer pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrate radiation safety practices.
