Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our team. Under supervision, you will perform radiographic and nuclear medicine procedures, manage radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure safety and quality in imaging services.

The role requires NMTCB/NMT or NMT certification, Texas MRT, and ARRT(NM) or NMTCB credentials; PET certification is preferred. AHA/ARC BLS certification is also required.

Qualifications

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) credential.
• MRT State of Texas license or certification.
• ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs general radiographic procedures as assigned.
• Uses Nuclear Medicine cameras and radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging.
• Maintains radiation safety and quality control standards.
• Performs tests on in-patients and out-patients with accuracy and compassion.
• Demonstrates independent judgment and initiative in isotope administration and patient care.
