Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN to assist with diagnostic imaging and radiopharmaceutical administration. Under a Nuclear Medicine Physician, you will perform procedures, demonstrate independent judgment, and ensure safety and quality in imaging.

Qualified candidates hold ARRT radiologic tech registration, NMTCB/NMT certification, and BCLS/ACLS compliance within 6 months. This is a PRN role within a leading healthcare system prioritizing patient experience.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
• ACLS must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician credential.
• NMTCB or NMT-AART NM certification required; PET certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under guidance of Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform radiographic procedures.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with independent judgment.
• Perform tests on in-patients and out-patients.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine cameras and related equipment.
• Administer pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals per practice guidelines.
• Demonstrate adherence to radiation safety standards.

Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)

Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) - AART (NM)

NMTCB PET Certification preferred
