Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN to support patient care in a tertiary care setting. The role involves collaborating with Nuclear Medicine Physicians to perform radiographic procedures and administer radiopharmaceuticals while maintaining strict radiation safety standards.

The position requires BCLS, ACLS within 6 months of hire, and state radiologic technician credentials, with NMTCB/NMT or AART NM certification preferred.

Qualifications

• BCLS required
• ACLS must be completed within 6 months of hire
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) - AART (NM)
• NMTCB PET Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Under guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, performs radiographic procedures as assigned
• Applies isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with independence and initiative
• Performs tests inpatients and outpatients
• Operates Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice
• Demonstrates commitment to radiation safety
