Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN to support radiology services with PET capabilities. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging under physician supervision, handling radiopharmaceuticals, and maintaining radiation safety standards in a busy tertiary care setting.

Qualified candidates will hold state radiologic technician registration, NMTCB/NMT credentials, and be able to complete ACLS within six months of hire.

Formación

• Basic Cardiac Life Support Required (BCLS)
• ACLS must be completed within 6 months of hire
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB), or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) - ARRT (NM)
• NMTCB PET Certification preferred

Responsabilidades

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist accomplishes one or a combination of several general radiographic procedures
• Performs at a technical level requiring a high degree of independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis
• Performs test in-patients and out-patients
• Utilizes a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice
• Demonstrates industry in radiation safety
