Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN to support nuclear medicine and PET imaging under physician guidance. The role requires handling radiopharmaceuticals, utilizing specialized cameras, and ensuring high standards of patient care.

Qualifications include BLS, ACLS within 6 months, state registration as Radiologic Technician, and NMTCB/NMT credentials. PET certification is preferred, with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy in a busy clinical setting.

Formación

• BLS certification required
• ACLS within 6 months of hire
• State Registered Radiologic Technician status required
• NMTCB or NMT credential (AART NM) required
• NMTCB PET Certification preferred

Responsabilidades

• Under guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, performs nuclear medicine and PET procedures
• Uses nuclear medicine cameras and diverse equipment for diagnostic imaging
• Manages radiopharmaceutical administration per Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice
• Maintains radiation safety protocols and quality control
• Demonstrates professional judgment and independence in clinical tasks
