Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN to support patient-centered imaging in a busy hospital environment. You’ll perform radiopharmaceutical procedures and PET imaging under physician supervision, ensuring accuracy and safety for inpatients and outpatients.

The ideal candidate holds BLS/ACLS, state radiologic tech registration, NMTCB/NMT credentials, and an NMTCB PET certification is a plus.

Formación

• Basic Cardiac Life Support Required
• ACLS must be completed within 6 months of hire
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB), or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)- AART (NM)
• NMTCB PET Certification preferred

Responsabilidades

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist accomplishes one or a combination of several general radiographic procedures
• Performs at a technical level requiring a high degree of independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis
• Performs test in-patients and out-patients
• Utilizes a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice
• Demonstrates industry in radiation safety
