Qualifications

• Must possess excellent communication skills due to frequent verbal and written interactions with physicians, patients, and staff.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Demonstrates patient care with dignity, privacy and comfort.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or CNMT certification required upon hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history.
• Prepare and position patient; set up imaging equipment for procedures.
• Follow preprocedural verification and Time Out processes.
• Ensure image quality and proper identification; review images with radiologist.
