Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine technologist to provide patient-centered imaging services. The role requires operating NM equipment, coordinating examinations, and ensuring high-quality studies under department procedures.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, safety, image quality, and collaboration with radiology staff. A minimum of an associate degree in Radiologic Technology and ARRT/Nuclear certification is expected, with BLS certification and ongoing education supported.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical care experience required; Nuclear medicine experience preferred.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to obtain the best study and image quality.
• Operate NM equipment and ensure calibration; report issues promptly.
• Restock supplies and maintain NM department cleanliness.
• Verify patient identity and ensure safety; document procedures.
