Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, patient‑centered imaging services. The role requires setup of equipment, positioning of patients, and independent execution of procedures with attention to quality and safety standards.

You will collaborate with radiologists and staff, ensuring accurate documentation, patient preparation, and adherence to regulatory guidelines while delivering compassionate care in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine program.
• Minimum 1 year NM clinical experience (rotations acceptable).
• ARRT‑N or CNMT certification is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete patient history for procedures.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment, ensuring image quality and patient safety.
• Follow preprocedural verification and Time Out processes.
• Maintain infection control and equipment cleanliness per policy.
• Communicate with patients and families using clear, compassionate language.
