Job summary

Methodist Hospital seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support patient care and imaging protocols in our hospital setting. The role emphasizes supervision, quality control, and collaboration with the radiology team to deliver accurate diagnostic results.

PRN schedule requires an individual with 2+ years of hospital nuclear medicine experience, eligible ARRT/NMTCB licensing, and a commitment to safety and continuous training within the Methodist Healthcare System.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine training program.
• Minimum 2 years experience as nuclear medicine technologist in a hospital setting.
• Complete initial and ongoing training/competencies per service line and department.

Responsibilities

• Supervises assigned personnel within and responsible for the effective planning and operation of the section(s).
• Leads both formal and informal meetings to maximize the group’s success.
• Maintains inventory and equipment service records; coordinates maintenance.
• Assesses impact of decisions on other components of the organization.
• Gathers data to identify issues, defines problems, and evaluates alternatives.
• Uses resources to maintain productivity standards in cooperation with administration.
