Job summary

Methodist Hospital Northeast is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to supervise staff and ensure optimal patient care. The role emphasizes maintaining equipment uptime, coordinating preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety protocols are followed across the section.

The candidate should have a Nuclear Medicine training program credential and at least two years of hospital experience, with ARRT/NMTCB or equivalent certification and Texas radiologic credential. No travel required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine training program.
• Minimum 2 years experience as nuclear medicine technologist in a hospital setting.
• ARRT (R), ARRT (N), ARRT (T) or NMTCB credential and Texas Radiologic Technologist Certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervises assigned personnel and plans/operates the section to optimize patient care.
• Leads meetings and fosters open discussion to move processes forward.
• Maintains inventory and service records; coordinates vendor maintenance.
• Assesses broader impact of decisions and communicates with management.
• Gathers data, analyzes issues, defines problems, and evaluates solutions.
• Uses resources efficiently to maintain productivity per department goals.
