Job summary

Methodist Hospital in Texas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a PRN position. The role requires leadership of assigned personnel, ensuring safety, and coordinating patient care within the radiology department.

The ideal candidate will have a Nuclear Medicine training program graduate and ARRT/NMTCB certification, plus Texas Radiologic Technologist certification, with prior hospital experience. This is a on-site role with a strong patient-care focus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine training program.
• 2 years experience as nuclear medicine technologist in a hospital setting.
• Completes initial and ongoing training as defined by service line, facility and department.
• One of the following: ARRT (R) or ARRT (N) or ARRT (T) or NMTCB.
• Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from Texas Department of Health.

Responsibilities

• Supervises assigned personnel and plans/operates the section effectively.
• Leads meetings and encourages open idea exchange to drive process.
• Maintains inventory and equipment service records; coordinates maintenance.
• Views work in a broad context and informs decisions across the organization.
• Gathers data, defines problems, and evaluates alternatives before acting.
• Uses resources to maintain productivity as directed by the Department Director.
