Job summary

Methodist Hospital Westover Hills seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to oversee daily operations in the nuclear medicine section and support the patient care team. The role requires leadership in a fast-paced hospital setting and strong coordination with vendors and staff.

Minimum education includes a Nuclear Medicine training program, with 2 years of hospital experience and applicable ARRT/NMTCB certifications. This PRN on-site position supports the mission of our health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine training program.
• 2 years experience as nuclear medicine technologist in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises assigned personnel within the section and ensures effective planning and operation.
• Leads meetings, fosters open communication, and builds an effective work team.
• Maintains inventory and equipment service records; coordinates maintenance with vendors.
• Assesses impact of decisions and communicates with other managers.
• Gathers data to identify issues and evaluate alternatives before acting.
• Uses resources efficiently to maintain productivity standards.
