Job summary

Methodist Hospital Westover Hills is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis. The role requires graduation from a Nuclear Medicine training program and at least 2 years of hospital experience in nuclear medicine.

Candidates must hold ARRT licensure (R/N/T) or NMTCB certification and Texas radiologic technologist certification. You will supervise staff, manage equipment maintenance, and participate in quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine training program.
• 2 years experience as nuclear medicine technologist in a hospital setting.
• Must hold ARRT (R/ N/ T) or NMTCB licensure and Texas radiologic technologist certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervises assigned personnel and plans/operates the section to ensure patient care.
• Leads meetings and encourages open ideas; guides team dynamics and performance.
• Maintains inventory and equipment; coordinates preventive/emergency maintenance with vendors.
• Assesses impact of decisions; communicates with managers to align with organization goals.
• Gathers data to identify issues; defines problems and evaluates alternatives before actions.
• Ensures efficient use of resources to meet department productivity standards.
