Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine training program.
• Experience: 2 years experience as nuclear medicine technologist in a hospital setting.
• Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility and department/unit which are specific to the needs of the patient population served (if applicable).
• One of the following licenses/certifications: ARRT (R) or ARRT (N) or ARRT (T) or NMTCB.
• Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from Texas Department of Health.

Responsibilities

• Supervises assigned personnel within and responsible for the effective planning and operation of the section(s).
• Leads both formal and informal meetings to maximize the group’s success.
• Maintains inventory and equipment service records and coordinates maintenance.
• Assesses impact of decisions on other parts of the organization and communicates outcomes to leadership.
• Gathers and analyzes data to identify issues and define solutions.
• Uses resources effectively to maintain productivity as directed by the Department Director.
