Job summary

Methodist Hospital Texsan, part of the HCA Healthcare family, seeks a Nuclear Med Tech PRN to support patient care in a busy hospital setting. The role requires completion of a Nuclear Medicine training program and ARRT or NMTCB certification, with at least two years of hospital experience.

The ideal candidate will supervise staff, ensure equipment uptime, manage inventories, and participate in safety and quality initiatives while delivering exceptional patient care within a trusted team

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine training program.
• Experience: 2 years experience as nuclear medicine technologist in a hospital setting.
• Licenses/Certifications: ARRT (R) or ARRT (N) or ARRT (T) or NMTCB; Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from Texas Department of Health.

Responsibilities

• Supervises assigned personnel within and responsible for the effective planning and operation of the section(s).
• Leads meetings to maximize the group’s success and fosters constructive discussion.
• Maintains inventory and equipment service records and coordinates maintenance.
• Understands broader impact of decisions and communicates with managers/directors accordingly.
• Gathers data to identify issues, defines problems, and evaluates alternatives.
• Uses resources effectively to maintain a productivity standard.
