Job summary

Methodist Hospital seeks a Nuclear CV Services Tech to supervise and optimize the Nuclear Medicine section. The role requires graduation from a Nuclear Medicine training program and at least two years of hospital-based nuclear medicine technologist experience.

Candidates must hold ARRT (R)/(N)/(T) or NMTCB certification and Texas radiologic technologist certification. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and service excellence within our busy department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine training program.
• 2 years experience as nuclear medicine technologist in a hospital setting.
• Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility and department/unit.

Responsibilities

• Supervises assigned personnel within and responsible for the effective planning and operation of the section(s).
• Leads both formal and informal meetings to maximize the group’s success and fosters open idea expression.
• Maintains inventory and equipment service records and coordinates maintenance with vendors.
• Views work situations in a broad context and communicates decisions to impacted areas.
• Gathers and analyzes data to identify issues and define solutions, making informed decisions.
• Uses resources effectively to maintain productivity as directed by leadership.
