Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform radiographic procedures and administer radiopharmaceuticals under supervision. The role requires independent judgment, adherence to radiation safety, and proficiency with Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment.

This full-time position in Texas offers daytime hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• Texas MTR license required.
• ARRT NM or NMTCB certification required.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current BLS provider.
• ACLS provider required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under guidance of Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform general radiographic procedures.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with high degree of independent judgment.
• Perform tests in-patients and out-patients.
• Utilize Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment.
• Administer pharmaceuticals/radiopharmaceuticals as outlined.
• Demonstrate radiation safety principles and practices.
