Medical City Heart and Spine seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform radiographic procedures under a physician's guidance. You will apply isotopes for diagnostic imaging and handle inpatient and outpatient tests using diverse Nuclear Medicine equipment.

The role requires ARRT/NM or NMTCB certification, Texas licensure, BLS/ACLS readiness, and a strong focus on radiation safety. Join a dedicated team in a hospital network focused on cardiovascular and spine care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine preferred.
• MTR State of Texas.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider.
• ACLS provider within 6 months of hire/transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs radiographic procedures.
• Performs tests in-patients and out-patients.
• Utilizes Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment.
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrates radiation safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
