Medical City Heart and Spine Hospitals seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our team. You will perform Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures under physician guidance, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited Nuclear Medicine program preferred.
• MTR Texas license.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current BLS provider certification.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs general radiographic procedures.
• Performs tests in-patients and out-patients.
• Utilizes a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment.
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrates safety in radiation management.
• Other duties as assigned.
