Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine technologist to join our radiology team. You will perform imaging procedures, maintain strict safety and quality standards, and support patient care across departments.

The role requires ARRT Nuclear Technology or Nuclear Medicine Tech certification, an Associates in Radiologic Technology, and at least one year of clinical experience. BLS is required; on-site scheduling includes PRN shifts.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates Radiologic Technology.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting caring for patients.
• Nuclear medicine: 1 year experience preferred.
• Certifications: ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech.
• BLS - Instructor certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to obtain the best study and maintain image quality.
• Report equipment problems to supervisor or service provider.
• Clean, disinfect and maintain equipment per infection control policy.
