Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support imaging exams with accuracy and compassion. You will prepare equipment, position patients, and ensure safety and quality of diagnostic studies.

Experience in nuclear medicine and ARRT certification are preferred; BLS certification is required on hire. This role involves collaborating with the radiology team to provide excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT Nuclear Medicine certification or equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification, instructor preferred; required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Set up imaging equipment and position patient for procedures.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders before imaging.
• Ensure proper patient identification and correct labeling of studies.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and transmit to PACS.
