Job summary

Ascension Health, at Ascension St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for the Diagnostic Imaging department.

Minimum requirements include BLS, NMTCB or ARRT NM specialization credentials, and graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Graduate of an accredited education program in Nuclear Medicine Technology required by date of hire.
• PET/CT experience preferred.

• Position patients and select anatomic and technical factors accurately.
• Order, prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

• One or more of the following required:

• Certified Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Registered Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited education program in Nuclear Medicine Technology required by date of hire.

Work Experience:

• PET/CT experience preferred.
