Job summary

Ascension Health in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for an Evening, Part-time schedule in the Imaging department. You will take diagnostic images, position patients correctly, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

You will operate imaging equipment, administer contrast when needed, and adhere to radiation safety protocols while maintaining high-quality imaging standards in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification requirements including BLS Provider within 30 days of hire.
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board before hire.
• NMTCB CT credential or ARRT CT with CNMT/CNMT allowed is preferred in addition to CNMT.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist with Radiography or CT specialty credentials required before hire.

Responsibilities

• Take clear diagnostic images by positioning patients and setting equipment correctly.
• Safely administer contrast or medications and monitor for reactions.
• Follow radiation safety rules and help maintain imaging equipment and quality standards.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Take clear, accurate diagnostic images by properly positioning patients and using the correct equipment settings.

• Safely give contrast or medications and watch for any patient reactions.

• Follow radiation safety rules and help maintain imaging equipment and quality standards.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

• One or more of the following required:

• Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.

• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.

• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
